Ref:-Chassis 118-GY - R.R.Paris.

Referring to Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/AVS8/KH.9.3.31, we have examined the battery returned from the above chassis, and although the appearance of the cracks gives one the impression that they are due to the handle having received an outward blow, we do not think this is the cause of the trouble, as there are no marks on the handle to indicate that it has had a blow.

We suggest this battery is returned to the makers for their examination and report.
