X457 Copy. Automobiles Rolls-Royce (France) Limited, 83, Boulevard Gouvion Saint-Cyr, Paris. 2486 . Mr. Unzue. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} E1G/D 18.10.13. You will remember that this chassis was exchanged for chassis 2040 on account of the wobbling of the steering column of the latter chassis, and in order to avoid any possibility of a recurrence of this kind of trouble with the new chassis - 2486 Mr. Johnson has sent you certain instructions. When the exchange was made, Mr. Unzue only required delivery of the car in January, but as he now wishes same to be delivered in December, it is becoming extremely urgent that chassis 2486 should be despatched with anynecessary alterations as rapidly as ever possible. Mr. Johnson requests me to inform you that this is a most serious matter, and that if there is any difficulty regarding Mr. Royce's information, you should immediately wire both to Mr. Royce and to us here, statinghow matters stand, and when you expect to be able to despatch the chassis.
