BOTTOM LEFT NOTES:
NOTE:- Flywheel friction face should be 1.00/43 Carbon Steel, or alternatively of good quality close grained cast iron. The friction face should be flat, smooth and polished and should not "run out" more than .010", and the face of flywheel to which the housing flange is attached should not "run out" more than .003". It is important to see that the crankshaft and clutch shaft are co-axial in unit construction.

The application of this model clutch is based on the following data:
Name of Firm: Fodens Ltd
Car Model: F.C.
No of Cyl: 6 Maximum Torque: 112 R.P.M.
Maximum Engine Speed:
Open or Unit Construction:
Vehicle Type: Lorry
Vehicle Capacity:
Date: 7-2-35

This Clutch is of the non-adjustable type. Therefore, some adjustment must be provided on the Pedal mechanism to compensate for friction facing wear.
N.B. - Care must be taken to see that the driven plate is assembled in correct position, as illustrated i.e. with chamfered swine of hub towards the flywheel.
Oil, Grease or Paraffin must not be allowed under any circumstances to be brought in contact with the friction face.
