Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Martindale.
Petrol Gauge for Mr.Hall's Le Mans Bentley Car.

We confirm despatching tonight by Passenger train the special petrol gauge for the above car. Reverting to your letter of the 13th inst, ref:Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}7/KW.1, we find that owing to the size of the float it is not possible for the warning light contacts to operate at 2 gallons. We have however, arranged for these to operate at 4 gallons, which is the lowest quantity possible.

We trust that this will meet your requirements and assure you of our best attention at all times.

Yours faithfully,
for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.
A.S.Rowell
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER.

What about the new oil tank?

To avoid delay all envelopes should be addressed to the firm.
