20 HP. WIRE WHEELS. X.3580

We send herewith N.sch.2478 shewing the proposed narrower wire wheels for use on the 20 HP. chassis.

It will be seen that we propose that the same hubs should be used for both wire and artillery wheels though we have altered the dimensions of the original artillery hub. The span of the ball bearing has been somewhat reduced in both cases.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} wishes these wheels with narrower hubs to come in at the same time as the 19" rims come in.

The principle object of sending you this drg. is for you to start enquiries as to the possibility of getting the wheels.
