To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X1113 Levallois, September 29th, 1935 Paris Trials Car - Bentley. Sr's. car, after further running, appeared to be satisfactory. No oil consumption was taken. It has since been at the Coachbuilders for attention, so as to be ready for the show. Phantom III. With regard to the cross steering tube spherical contacts. These were very bad for being not spherical on the top side. They were lumpy and had only been making contact on the pads approx. half the area they should have done. The new contact having a larger hole cuts out the bottoming as was the case.
