Dear Sirs, We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 19th inst., together with pedal layout Drawings Nos. F.8685, Sheets 1 and 2, enclosed therewith which we feel will enable us to investigate the proposed application of mechanical servo to your existing clutch pedal mechanism - we will not hesitate to communicate with you further should we require additional drawings. With regard to your request for a demonstration at your Works of Morris car fitted with automatic clutch control, the writer will be pleased to arrange this to your convenience which we understand will be in approximately ten days' time. At the same time we would ask you to give us a day or two's notice if this is at all possible. In connection with the 10.A3 clutch as applied to your Bentley chassis we would thank you for the opportunity accorded on Friday last of trying out your experimental car, and feel from the short preliminary tests made that this should make a good application and there would appear to be every indication that the clutch will definitely meet your requirements. We shall naturally be pleased to hear from you further in due course as and when you have had an opportunity of giving the clutch further tests. Yours faithfully, BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} T. Barker. | ||
