DERBY.

Dear Robotham,

Very many thanks indeed for your letter of May 9th and enclosure from Mr. Summers. I am extremely pleased to hear what he has to say about India tyres.

As regards manufacture of "Sports" tyre, we shall shortly have the drawings out for this, which I hope to be able to send you to see which you like the look of best.

I have just received the chassis No. of the Bentley which my brother-in-law, Captn. T.L. Dugdale, M.P., has ordered from Messrs. Park, Ward. It is:- B.181.B.L., which is due for delivery in July. I am particularly anxious that he should be more than pleased with his Bentley, as I think he would be an excellent advertisement for you, as he is very keen on motoring. I should be so grateful, therefore, if you could keep an eye on this chassis.

We shall be delighted to give you and your wife lunch if you come up to the Chelsea Flower Show, as my house is quite near. So do let us know if, and when, you are coming.

Again very many thanks.

Yours sincerely,

Rothes-
