Dear Rothes,

I am interested to note from your last letter that the India Tyre Co., are considering producing a competition tyre. We would be very glad to test this out when it is available.

I wrote to Dick Summers whom you remember is a friend of mine and who had the first Bentley, asking him for his opinion on the India Tyre. Of course he is a very critical and hard driving owner and he pulled my leg about departing from Dunlops when we produced the Bentley. I attach a copy of his reply which I think is an exceedingly high testimonial for your products.

I am sorry that I missed Exhibition, I am hoping to make my annual visit to Chelsea Flower Show and might see you then if circumstances permit.
