TECHNICAL INFORMATION.

You will remember that for a long time we have promised to supply technical information in connection with our cars which would be useful to Officials who have to deal with complaints, and have not available experimental reports. We have scrapped several previous attempts at compiling this information because we were not satisfied that we were giving out the most useful kind of information. We attach herewith our latest attempt. We do not expect that this will satisfy everybody. If we take, however, the case of over-heating troubles in Australia last year, we believe that if our people out there had had the information on Cooling which is contained in these notes, the Company would have been saved considerable expense.

We know that a lot of the information is generally known, even so, we have found it useful, when a particular fault occurs, to review the fundamentals.

We should welcome your criticism or approval of this Book.

Further reports, or modifications to existing reports would be issued periodically.

We can supply, if necessary, about 40 copies of this information. We should like to have a list from you of the Officials which you recommend should have a copy.

We think a note should be added on the front of the Book stating that it is confidential.
