DISTRIBUTOR CONTACT POINTS.

We have not had any failure of the above. The loss in the contact points has been more than normal. The chief wear appears to have taken place on the rubbing blocks, a total loss in the setting being .009 during 7;807 miles.

BATTERY

THE battery has remained in a good condition. The loss of water has been moderate. 1 1/2 pints has been added during the mileage. The two long bolts holding the battery in the box became loose and fell out. The nuts of these bolts should have split pins. The battery box and anchorage has given no trouble.

IGNITION PLUGS LODGE X 339 (33).

These plugs have run 5000 miles. The electrodes do not show any burning to have taken place. There has been no misfires on acceleration. No sign of preignition at high speed.
