Copy. S/W. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Re: Road Wheels. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} handed to me some few days ago your BY15/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 22.10.30 relative to a set of six Staybrite road wheels which you have at Derby. He wanted me to suggest to you that as soon as you are satisfied with these wheels, arising out of the bumper test, you should then send one to us in London, which we would keep in the Showrooms in the hope of persuading one of our purchasers to have the whole set at an extra charge to be fixed, and so cover, if possible, our part of the cost of these wheels. Perhaps you will therefore kindly let me know if your bumper tests are completed, and whether you can send the wheel to us just whenever you happen to have a car or lorry coming to London. May I assume that the wheels are perfectly standard so far as size and fitting are concerned, and could be fitted to any Phantom II chassis of the standard or Continental Touring Saloon type?
