Reliability and expansion of copper tubes in cylinder heads.

Regarding copper tubes through cylinder castings, these I understand to be more reliable than steel, monel metal, or brass. I assume that difference of expansion is taken up within the elastic limit considering the bolts put the whole in compression. R | ||
