The calculated cylinder capacity for 4 to 1 compression Piston is 26.000 cu.ins. with piston at top of its stroke. We understand from Unit Test that the average capacity of the first 40 engines is 25.5 cu.ins. Mr Bailey instructs that all engines should give a capacity between 24.5 and 25.5 cu.ins. The original cylinder head model when fitted with standard tulip headed valves gave 20 cu.ins. capacity. BY/SS.{S. Smith} | ||
