Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
Derby.

Gentlemen,

For the attention of Mr. West.

As arranged with Mr. West on the telephone this morning, we are sending herewith four plugs which have been made up in the Sinterkorund material which we shall be producing very shortly at these Works.

You will note that these plugs do not bear identification marks of any kind and we trust that this will not inconvenience you. We shall be very interested if you can submit them to severe test as we believe their heat resistance to be high. However, we have not yet had an opportunity of ascertaining the characteristics of the plugs accurately and shall be very glad to have your views as to how they compare with, say, the V.14/1 or the 868.

These plugs are of non-detachable design, but we do not anticipate any difficulty in making them up in the detachable form with the addition of "R" type screens.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. K.L.G. SPARKING PLUGS LIMITED.

Director.
