PLEASE REFER TO GEN: SALES: DEPT. AND QUOTE REFERENCE LSMB/FJP IN YOUR REPLY 4th July, 1936. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, Nightingale Road, D E R B Y. Gentlemen, ROLLS ROYCE "25/30" car (29.4-h.p. rating.) We shall be supplying to your recent Order No. 19790 - and have done to earlier ones requisitioning equipment plugs for this engine - the K.L.G. plug described as, and branded, 831-LR.{Mr Ellor} When No. 19790 is fulfilled we shall just about come to the end of plugs so branded. Future plugs of this type will bear the branding 831. We are combining two types into one by abandoning the 10 m/m plug, i.e. 831, and the type description is simplified by omitting the letters "LR{Mr Ellor}" on the one you use. We are sending herewith an advance specimen of the 12 m/m reach (fully threaded) plug branded 831. It is otherwise precisely similar to what we shall be supplying and have been supplying to you branded 831-LR.{Mr Ellor} We shall be obliged if you will give your approval to this and will you kindly note the necessity for ordering in future as 831. We shall be grateful if references in kit handbooks to K.L.G. plugs for the 25/30 model are to 831 rather than to 831-LR.{Mr Ellor} Yours faithfully, p.p. K.L.G. SPARKING PLUGS LIMITED, (L.S.M. Braund), Director. | ||
