Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} RECEIVED 4 OCT 1922 BY11-P4.10.22. GOSHAWK 11. STOCKINGS FOR STEERING JOINTS. Mr Marriott has handed to you this afternoon a complete set of combined steering joint stockings, arranged so that the stocking covers the steering lever to a certain degree of its length as well as completely covering the joints in the steering tubes. It would appear that these particular stockings are liable to pull on the steering joints and possibly prevent us getting the necessary angular movement. Would you kindly fit these up on a car and let us have your views in connection with same. In the meantime we shall have to carry on with the laced type of stocking, as made for us by Mr Abel in the town. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
