With reference to G/WFH/CA4/KH9.11.29, these petrol gauges were sent to replace parts that had proved faulty on our 10,000 mile test in France. We therefore do not think that we should pay more than 50% of their value.

We are sure that Messrs. Hobson will agree to this if you put the matter up to their Major Searight.
