The extraordinary effect an engine mounting can have on the sideways shake of a chassis has recently been demonstrated on the Wraith car in France. Will you kindly make some tests on the P.III to prove that if we fix an engine solidly in the chassis it does not affect this feature. If it does make a difference then we shall have to experiment with different types of engine mounting.
