Dear Sirs, Further to our letter of the 24th instant, we are despatching to you under separate cover by post today, 4 Contact Arms with return springs .021" thick, and 6 having return springs .020" thick. These springs have been made from steel supplied by Messrs. Joseph Gillott & Sons of Birmingham and to assist you as far as possible, have been hardened and tempered by ourselves in order that the Contact Arms might be forwarded to you with an absolute minimum of delay. We have however, made arrangements with Messrs. Joseph Gillott & Sons per telephone this morning to undertake the hardening and tempering, and a consignment of springs for this purpose is being forwarded to them today. Immediately the springs are received from them, same will be assembled to Contact Arms, and forwarded to you for test purposes, without delay. Yours faithfully, NORTH & SONS LIMITED., H.{Arthur M.
