RE SPECIFICATION OF INSPECTION & TEST
OF SINGLE MODIFICATION 40/50 DYNAMOS.

You will remember that at one time we asked you to keep to the 125º of control brush angle. Since then however we have informed you verbally, and now confirm in writing, that owing to the considerable variations in output which occur in these single modification machines, we agree that the limits of output given in para.(5) of the Specification should be kept to by setting the control brush, even though the angle given in para.(1c) of the Specification is not complied with.

When we come on to the N.B. machine we anticipate that there will be the a better consistency between the limits of output and the control brush angle owing to the concentricity of the armature with the poles.
