XT73a To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}22/KT.7.12.33. BENTLEY 10,000 MILES TEST - RADIATOR SHUTTERS. With reference to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}10/E.29.11.33. We have carried out some tests here which confirm the trouble being experienced by GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} in France. We find that we can improve matters considerably by a small alteration, and shall endeavour to get parts out to GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} before he returns. Failing this we know we can reproduce his conditions here. The modifications should make the Bentley no worse than the R.R. cars except that in so far as it is driven faster. At the present moment the thermostat has not such powerful control over the shutters on the Bentley as on our other models. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
