TO Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM P.N. 4555 PN{Mr Northey}1/DN/19.10.23. I noticed on Mr. Royce's 20 HP car which I had a run on at Derby on Wednesday last, that the headlamps were dipping by a special scheme controlled from the instrument board. We are at the present time fitting mostly the Barker scheme and are having some trouble in respect of the control lever at the side which they have made too long for comfort, and when it is shortened, the effort in moving it will probably be too great. We do not want to take no end of trouble with the Barker method if the scheme you are testing is coming out O.K. Would you let us have some information, please ? T.C.S. P.N. | ||
