Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your esteemed order No.19913 for one Hobson K-S Telegage Willis Venetian Cream Dial only with black figures to suit gauges supplied against order No. 18679 to your blue print F.58243 of September 25th. Before proceeding with this we shall be glad if you will please let us have further information, as we are not quite certain how this dial is to be calibrated. When we originally supplied the three dials to your blue print F.58243 you afterwards notified us that these were not correct, and you gave us certain figures from which we calibrated three new dials to replace those already submitted. Judging by the irregularity of the spaces between the gallons we do not think that these dials could have been absolutely correct and as we wish this particular dial to be accurate in every respect could you not arrange for a tank to be sent for calibration? Failing this, will you please let us know to what details we are to work, and if possible send us a blue print showing the actual calibrations.
