Modifications to the steam escape pipe on the 33-EX radiator.

| To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X340 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.9/JH.1.4.36. Modifications to Steam Escape Pipe on 33-EX radiator. Further to our HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.15/JH.27.3.36., we wish to modify these instructions as follows :- (1) Instead of the escape pipe external flange being fitted on the rear of the tank, it should be fitted in the same position as the present flange, but on the opposite side of the tank. (2) A baffle should be fitted around the top of the calorstat to deflect any water from the exit pipe. (3) The filler tube should be removed as this serves no useful purpose.
