To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From Mr. WST WESTON AMMETERS. We are very concerned with the supplies of Weston Ammeters we are receiving for production. (This question has already been taken up). We are having to reject quite a large number before they are actually fitted to chassis for faults such as, Needles not returning to zero and breakdowns to earth. This morning we have had an entire failure of a car on the road owing to a faulty ammeter, which resulted in the whole of the electrical system being put out of action. We submit that this instrument as at present constructed is definitely unsatisfactory, and should not be delivered to customers. [Signature] | ||
