WESTON AMMETERS.
(MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}9/T.10.1.34.)

Mr. Davey the Managing Director of The Weston Electrical Company has been here to-day on the question of the failures of the Weston ammeters.

He was amazed to see the quality of work which is being turned out from his factory and has promised to replace every ammeter that we have received. He assures us that every possible effort will be made to give us high quality workmanship together with a sound electrical instrument.

The revised instruments when they arrive will be marked on the back with an identification mark to facilitate the changeover.

We think, therefore, that we should continue to use what ammeters we have until the revised supplies are available. We are arranging to have one of the latter sent to us for inspection and we will advise you in due course if we consider the improvements satisfactory.
