With reference to the suggestions to use Ferodo on the driven member of the existing 20/25 HP. clutch, we send you herewith N.Scheme 2976 shewing slight modifications to the proposal originally made on N.Scheme 2957. The modifications consist principally in the use of a stop for the damper plate, similar to the one proposed for Phantom, and an increase in the clearance allowed for dust etc., with the necessary holes for its escape. We have also shewn a modification to the method of attaching the starter ring and the clutch spider by using studs instead of bolts. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
