Page 3 L.S.P.Co.Ltd. Date 12/9/18 Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd. very great advantages over the use of mica, and although we shall not be in a position to supply these plugs in quantities for a considerable time we hope you will test them with a view to possible future supplies. We beg to remind you of the 1 Doz. KR3 plugs that we sent to you on September 5th, these plugs being made with insulating tubes in place of the external mica washers. We hope you will get these on test as soon as possible to see whether the insulating tubes are satisfactory, as if so it gets over one difficulty in the use of copper centre pins. There are two kinds of insulating tubes, one coloured brown and the other black, and we want you to observe which is the better. As previously mentioned, the writer will be calling at 2.30 on Tuesday afternoon the 17th inst. We beg to remain, Yours faithfully, THE LODGE SPARKING PLUG CO. LTD. Alex M Lodge DIRECTOR | ||
