1245 W/P - Sr. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/JH.9.1.40. Many thanks for your note. I enclose a copy of a note from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} which covers the pre War work we asked Paulin to do. The 8 cyl. Corniche is really the No.1. Will Paulin say at once if he is short of information. I am most anxious for one of the new bodies to be completed so that we can get the revised weight figure. I think the monocoque work should be left for the time being. When he has cleaned up these jobs we want a suggestion for the front end appearance of our small 4 cyl. car but not too futuristic, i.e. lamps not in wings. He will have to come over and discuss this. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
