Notes of Meeting. Chassis - Easier Change Gearboxes cont'd to Mr.McClure. Their address is: Hydraulic Coupling & Engineering Co.Ltd., Ceylon Works, Worton Road, Isleworth. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} enquired whether we had tried the 11 HP Singer, which has an improved fluid flywheel, balloon tyres and independent front springs and sells complete at £240. As the reply was in the negative arrangements will be made for it to be tried at Derby. Diamond Cylinder Boring. Since the last meeting a visit had been paid by Sft.{Mr Swift} and E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} to the Austin and Daimler Works as reported in EL./HP.2.7.14 and it is understood that Bor. and Sft.{Mr Swift} are going further into this matter. Gearboxes with Synchromesh Second for 20/25 and Bentley. The sealing down of the SpectreCodename for Phantom III box is still going on for the Wraith and at the same time consideration is being given to its possible adoption for the 20/25 and Bentley. Textolite Gears. The 6 sets referred to in former Minutes are waiting for special grinding tackle and, as we are not yet clear whether we are going to be able to make a satis- factory production job of this, E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} is not at the moment investigating further the question of introducing a modif- ication on the 20/25 which will enable the same parts to be used as on the Bentley. "Wraith" engine - design and size. Nothing further was discussed in regard to this car. "SpectreCodename for Phantom III". The first engine is on test and Sg.{Arthur F.
