G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Armstrong, Esq.,
Messrs. Gordon Armstrong Patent Suspension Co.,Ltd.,
Waltham Works,
Beverley, Yorks.

Dear Mr. Armstrong,

Thank you for your letter.

At the moment we are most interested in getting the P.III running. We have connected up the control, but find it is very heavy to operate from the column. The car will soon be held up for the new damper levers.

Would you like us to return the two hand control dampers which we have, so that the

(1) new levers can be fitted
(2) angular movement slightly increased
(3) control made less heavy.

Actually it may be better for us to cut the present levers and weld them in a suitable position, so that the car can be run on the road.

I will 'phone you to-morrow at 10.30.a.m.

Yours sincerely,
