For Mr.Leslie's attention. Dear Mr. Leslie, I thank you for your letter received this morning. We are making up special arms to suit the P.111 model as requested in your sketch. We have also sent for patterns from the Birmingham Aluminium Company, from whom it takes about a month to get castings, and will let you have these as apparently you can send us castings quicker than they could. The Works inform me that they have about ten castings from these patterns in stock; and will be glad if you can give me a list of all the shock absorbers you would like so that we can prepare the necessary material. I am hoping to get a pair of shock absorbers on the rear of my Bentley with the spring-loaded rod control tomorrow, and will write you when I have had a run, to give you some information about them. Yours sincerely, p.p. THE GORDON ARMSTRONG PATENT SUSPENSION CO.LTD. Gordon Armstrong | ||
