Whitemetal surface and the blade rod as standard.

Forked rod bush in Halls metal. The complete instructions therefore, for the above 15,000 mile unit are as follows :-

(1) Forked rod bushes to E89172. 3 in AC2 and 3 in AC6 material.

(2) Existing blade and forked rods.

(3) Shims for forked rods to E89174.

(4) Bolts for forked rods to E89176.

(5) Details of upper and lower bearings will be issued in a day's time. These will be in mild steel as standard and can be produced from existing forgings.

The outer diameter will be W/M faced as standard on which the blade rod bears.
