should be added to the length of the body to give a longer appearance and make this possible. It will then allow of a larger footbox, which should be carefully arranged at the correct slope.

The proposed new body might be a little deeper both at the sides and at the dash.

We would like Mr. Spinney to get a tracing of the body that has been constructed at Mulliners, and put it over our blue-print to shew the difference in the accommodation.

A feature which I thought did not seem desirable was the continuation of the trimming over the scuttle dash, in fact, the scuttle appeared to shew very much more than is usual. I admit that the windscreen following the top of the scuttle adds to the lighter appearance of the car, and can be carried out quite satisfactorily.

Regarding the ventilator on the top of the scuttle, my impression is that this need not be fitted; it certainly spoils the look of the upper line of the scuttle, and ought not to be so necessary as in the 40/50 HP. there being much way for the air to pass under the floorboards.

It would appear that with the size of wheels selected and a low body and frame and hood, the only way of carrying the spare wheel will be to lean it back as suggested by Mr. Spinney.

If the sides of the body are a little higher, the scuttle could be a little higher with avantage, when the scuttle could curve upward slightly, as shewn in our drawing, which we think is better than the continued bonnet line( as in the model referred to) which gave an appearance of a hump between the
