bonnet and scuttle.

There is another point which Mulliners have lost, and that is foot room for the rear passengers, viz., the back of the front seats being verticle and not like our drawing, which shews this to follow the front cushion, and as carried out on 6.EX., which is quite a roomy body, and has a good appearance, at least to me and others here, many disliking the barrel form of open body.

We send a further tracing shewing what we think the new model open body for Goshawk 11 should be like.

If, as in the previous case, this drawing is to be departed from, it will be worth while sending us the design proposed. We do not think we should have passed the design of the one that has been made.

We cannot alter the upward sweep of the frame, probably the body can be treated in the same way as has already been arranged for the landaulet at Hoopers. It will be noticed that both bodies are now 108" from the dash to the rear, but there is less room in the open body because of the difference in the steering which pushes the front seat back.

R.{Sir Henry Royce}

We are now proposing for the 15 HP, that this body shall be reduced about 3%, making it 104" or 105" overall, but will have to be of an economical shape. This is of more importance than can be realised, in fact, I fear you may think Goshawk 11 second body very roomy, if the increase in dimensions and shape are both adopted.
