H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Royce Esq.,
Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Sir,

Kindly note that we have despatched to you 15 pieces of Brake lining, lacquered red all over, which represents the same quality as supplied to you about 7 or 8 years ago, and which as the writer mentioned to you proved very satisfactory on test at the time.

As you happen to have a special testing machine, we would esteem it a great favour if you would kindly arrange to test these linings and let us have your views on the quality.

The red lacquered linings represent a different manufacturing process than the linings which you have tested just recently and it would be very interesting to ascertain whether the old mixture manufactured at the outset by us happens, perhaps, to meet with your requirements.

Will you therefore be good enough and let us have your views on the subject after you have had the opportunity of testing them, and thanking you beforehand for your kind attention, believe us to remain.

Yours faithfully,
RICHARD KLINGER, LTD,

Managing Director.
