35-EX.
This car had an accident on the way to Chateauroux. The driver was dazzled by some headlights and ran into the back of a led horse. The horse was killed, and the man leading it injured by the horse.
The French Police seem to have taken up the attitude that the man who was leading the horse should have had some form of light, and, therefore, largely exonerate our driver.
The body of 35-EX was damaged and is being repaired. The chassis appears to be O.K., and when the body has been temporarily repaired the test will be continued.
We attach herewith copy of a note which we sent to Drivers at Chateauroux after the last accident. The tester who was driving 35-EX will be brought home and removed from the driving list. We attach a copy of his report of the accident.
