S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re- 18-G4. 8 7960. Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}12/KW11.1.32. Thanks for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/MJ9.1.32. Of course I did not mean in my previous memo that we should like to have this car at once, as obviously we could not use it for demonstration purposes yet. What we had in mind was, that at the time we are able to demonstrate with and take orders for the type of chassis which will be coming through during the last 25 in the second half of "T" series, we could then use 18-G4 as a temporary Car if you consider it would be a suitable one for that job as regards chassis and body. It would, we fear, not be possible to get a new chassis through and have it finished in time to be demonstrating with it as early as we should like, and 18-G4 might therefore usefully fill the gap until we get a new car through. Broadly speaking, this means we should not require the car until about 15 weeks from now, i.e. about the end of April. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} | ||
