Re Analysis of Bumping Tests. X.1331. Since we have started on changing the steering tubes it appears to me a dangerous policy to let such work hang about for a long time, in case one should go wrong on the road. We rather look upon the spring bolt as the best safety valve. Its breakage is usually not a serious matter. They might be made a little larger, or of still better materials if possible. The cross steering lever is a serious matter, that we ought to get more information about, and include it with the side steering tube, if changing is to be done. F.H.R. | ||
