Steering Positions - Peregrine.

We think it is a very good move to limit the Peregrine chassis to one type of steering within the range of the adjustment provided. It will be the means of saving much time and expenditure which is liable to occur when it is necessary to convert chassis already built from one type of steering to another.

In connection with the 20/25 chassis, we think some improvement should be possible also, since the "C" steering column differs from the "E" and "F" by only .85" in length. If these steerings could be made of similar length it would obviate the necessity of carrying waiting stocks of columns and shafts, and also where it is required to convert chassis it would be unnecessary to disassemble steering boxes already built up for the sake of altering them in length, as well as avoiding removing them from the chassis.
