HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 200a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}12/R.2.2.37. 3.B.IV. In order to overcome the effects of the out-of-balance of the grease in propeller shaft sliding joints, we should like to be able to use thick oil, and in some way make sure that this does not leak out. The attached sketch Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}301 shows what we think might be an improvement. Will you please prepare a propeller shaft like this, or, alternatively, alter the one on 3.B.IV. This car is probably leaving England at the end of the week.
