HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 200a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std18./M.10.2.37. As 3 B.IV Car will not be going away for at least ten days, we wish to get the .800 wide bonnet rest fabric (as per sample handed to you some time ago) on the radiator of this car. Will you, therefore, have the necessary support angles (with wider slots) made and also prepare a radiator shell fitted with the necessary wider rest angles. These can be prepared in advance so that they can be fitted to the car with the minimum of delay when we put it in the shop. The modified support angles and rest angles can be made in mild steel plated. We will hand you a Bentley radiator and shutter assembly which requires assembling. Will you please assemble it and we will then fit it to 3 B.IV in the garage, this freeing 3 B.IV's own radiator for the above changes. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
