There is not, of course, sufficient material in the works to send any to Depots, as all the cross steeringtube material we have going through the works is not even sufficient to satisfy the demands of the M.T. [Mechanical Transport], and we have a considerable number of orders for these outstanding.

The chief trouble is the obtaining of the tubes, and end forgings.
