X.4359.L Dynamo & Motor for Small Car. X.4342.L Messrs. Lucas have no dynamo which is suitable for the small car. They suggested the E.575 machine (as standard on the large car), but we cannot consider this suitable without alteration to the winding, as the cutting in point would be too late, even for this case, and the output in the later stages much too big. As regards the motor, Messrs. Lucas have a motor which they consider would be suitable and the matter of the fixing of this motor to the small car is being gone into between themselves and our Design Dept. EFC. {E.
