To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.8/JH.3.11.36. Dynamo Brushholder R.R. Sch.988. In connection with the revised design of brushholder to the above scheme, BY/RD.2/B.24.9.36, we are requested to supply a suitable Phantom III dynamo for the purpose of testing it. We are therefore, handing over dynamo I.C.1 which is the most suitable one we have, but which needs overhauling as it has just completed a high speed endurance test. Will you please therefore arrange to have this machined cleaned and the commutator skimmed, before fitting the new brush gear. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. | ||
