R.R. 835a (100 T) (S.H. 798. 10-12-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2548 X4217 31.3.21. VISIT AND MESSRS. WORMALD AND HIVES TO WEST WITERING ON STURDAY MARCH 19TH. 21. Extract from E6/G31.3.21 -------- GOSHAWK 11 CARBURETTER. X.4228. X.4217. It is proposed to use jets having vee grooves for Goshawk 11 carburetter, the jet pins being .100" in diamater. Mr. Royce instructed that 1, 3 and 4 grooves should be tried. Goshawk 11 carburetter should be tried on Goshawk 1 engine. A design making the adaption should be prepared as soon as the drawings of Goshawk 11 carburetter are received. Mr. Royce would like the Essex carburetter tried on one of our chassis. He would also like a scheme for the 40/50 HP. experimentally tried with the induction pipe above the exhaust, a cross rake pipe between the cylinder castings, and a butterfly valve arranged as in the scheme for Goshawk 11.
