X5540 Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. R May 31st, 1925. To: "HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}" From: G.W.Hancock. On Friday we did not get rid of the car until 6.30 p.m., as the boat was not ready to receive the car. We crossed over by the early boat to Boulogne, but the cargo boat, with our car on board, did not arrive until late in the evening, which delayed our departure from Boulogne. We started early this morning from Boulogne, and arrived at Chateauroux about 6.30 p.m. The car has run very well indeed. We have had no trouble of any description. Steering at high speeds is very good, but at slow speeds violent wobbles build up very easily. We are, as you suggested, going over the car to-morrow, before starting our tests. G.W.Hancock. | ||
