Re Mrs. Cohen - Continued.

of Prowodniks to the rear wheels, and when these burst she is going to let him know if the mileage is more satisfactory. If not, Pa.{Mr Paterson} will take the matter of fitting the twin wheels up with Messrs. Cockshoots. See attached copy.

September 15th. Copy of above report is handed to Na.{Mr Nadin}

December 19th. W. ask Pa.{Mr Paterson} whether he has heard anything further from customer with regard to the tyre consumption.

" 20th. Pa.{Mr Paterson} replies that he has not heard anything further from customer. In view of the recent instructions re twin wheels, he asks what he is to do if he should have a further complaint from this owner.

Pa.{Mr Paterson} replies that in his original report of customer's complaint, he stated that he had informed her that if she did not obtain better results from Prowodnik tyres he would take up the matter with Messrs. Cockshoots, with a view to having twin wheels fitted. Now, if he has to see her again, she will want to know why we do not recommend twin wheels, having done so previously. Pa.{Mr Paterson} wants to have a very good reason against using these wheels so that he can convince customer.

" 8th. Above memo. is handed to Na.{Mr Nadin} for his remarks.

" 9th. Na.{Mr Nadin} replies that they note the total weight of the car with passengers, luggage, tools, etc., is outside our guarantee, and they find that if the total weight of the car is inside the guarantee single tyres will give
