JUN 14 34 Received 12th June, 1934. General Manager, Bentley Motors (1931) Ltd., Kingsbury Road, The Hyde, Hendon, N.W.9. Dear Sir, CLEVELAND DISCOL We suggested to you in our letter of the 30th May, that you might be interested to make tests on our new British Alcohol blend, Cleveland Discol, for your own experience and for the benefit of owners of your cars. We cannot trace any reply from you. For your information, many of the other leading car manufacturers are particularly interested in this grade and are at present running, or shortly intend to run tests on it. You will know that Cleveland Discol is an outstandingly high anti-knock spirit which will stand substantially higher compression ratios, actually as high as 7 1/2 and 8 to one without knocking, with a much cooler engine, and with a minimum of valve trouble. As we feel that our previous letter must have been overlooked, we write you now with the hope that you will communicate with us as we should appreciate your co-operation very much indeed. Yours faithfully, CLEVELAND PETROLEUM PRODUCTS COMPANY. [Signature]: M Davis General Manager. [STAMP]: ANSWERED 14 JUN. 1934 | ||
